Thank you for supporting the Minot Matthew 25 Project with your donations of clothing and household items!
Matthew 25 Project is a Christian nonprofit organization that seeks to meet material needs of people in our community in order to share the love of Jesus. We operate a thrift shop that we stock with donations from the community and offer those items to those in need at no charge. Free will offering is accepted and appreciated. A $5/month donation is suggested for each shopper that is able.
Our shop is located at 2410 30th Ave NW, middle overhead door. We are open every Monday (6-8pm), Tuesday (11am-1pm) and Thursday (11am-1pm). We are also open one Saturday a month. Please check our facebook page for any weather related changes to our schedule. We will be closed December 15-January 12, 2024 for the Christmas holiday.
Matthew 25 Project has been distributing clothing and household items since January 2019. We are not affiliated with any other Matthew 25 organization and are not sponsored by any specific church or group. Matthew 25 Project was founded by Melissa Maasjo and is now run by a board of directors.
Monday 6-8pm
Tuesday 11am-1pm
Thursday 11am-1pm
We also open one Saturday a month. These dates will be announced on our Facebook page.
If you would like to receive mobile alerts regarding weather related schedule changes from Matthew 25, please text 'Matthew25' to 74121.
Please text us at 701-922-2622 if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our phone is not monitored on a regular basis so please be patient.
Come to our shop during our open hours and browse through clothing, housewares, home decor, furniture, books, toys, etc. You will be required to bring identification on your first visit in order to receive an attendance card. Each shopper is permitted to shop twice per month. We are unable to deliver items to your home. If you put something on hold, you have until our next shopping day to pick it up. If you need the item held longer, text us at 701-922-2622.
Please drop off donations only when our shop is open. Furniture and large appliances may be dropped at the front overhead door. All other donations may be brought to our northwest door where we will help you unload.
A suggested donation of $20 per drop-off is suggested, but not required. We are a free store so we operate without any income except for financial donations from the community.
Please be aware that once our intake room is full for the day, all additional donations will be put towards our fundraising campaign. Through a relationship with a thrift store in our region, we are able to raise money through gently used donated clothing and soft goods. Each pound is equated to a financial donation to our mission. These donations should be in good, clean condition.
WE ARE UNABLE TO PICK UP DONATIONS. We are praying that we will be able to hire part-time staff in the future to handle pick-ups and deliveries but it is not financially possible at this time.
Furniture, kitchen items, towels, bedding, toys, baby equipment. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS OUTSIDE OF OUR DOOR. We are renting our space and we don't want to leave a mess.
All items need to be in clean and good condition. We are not a drop off for dirty laundry and garbage, dumpster space is expensive! We will not accept items with alcohol/drug marketing, used underwear or food.
We are located in the old Cal-Dak Cabinets Building on the west 83 bypass. The address is 2410 30th Ave NW, middle overhead door.
Yes! Just show up when our shop is open and we will put you to work! There will be a waiver to sign and a few guidelines to read. Please arrive 20-30 minutes before we are open for shoppers. Volunteers may use the northwest door and park on the north side of the building.
Rent, insurance, mileage, basic office supplies. Matthew 25 Project is a 501c3 organization so your donation is tax deductible.
Your support and contributions will enable us to make real changes. Every little bit counts!
